MEET OUR STAFF

Lissa's journey with four-legged animals began with horses in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. 

Since then, her over four decades of experience in rescue, transport, clinic, surgery and pet boarding, make her the perfect lead to NSAC. Lissa knows what it takes to provide the best experience for pets and their humans. Lissa is affiliated with many animal rescues across Texas and regularly assists with animal transports. You will see her at the center daily managing day-to-day operations.

Addie has lived in San Antonio most of her life and is a dog mom of a border collie, an old English bulldog, and an American bulldog mix. Addie has been with North Star Animal Center since 2022 and you will see her greeting clients at the Reception Desk.

Gracie grew up around a house full of four-legged family members and has a passion for business.  You will see her manning the reception desk at the Center.

Animals are Darlene's life! She always had pets growing up and her love for them has grown even more into adulthood. She has a passion for learning and understanding all types of animals. You will see Darlene working the reception desk at the Center.

Juliet is a cat mom of two beautiful kitties named Ozzie and Ophelia who absolutely love cuddles. She also enjoys dedicating all the love and care she can to your pet when you board with us.

Veronica has always loved having pets as a child and that love has grown since she entered adulthood. One of her favorite things to do is play with her puppy...Valentina!

Lindsay has lived in San Antonio for about three years and loves pampering her pooches. She does a great job of taking care of yours too when they come to play at NSAC.

Destiny has a mini zoo at home which includes many reptiles, fish, a dog named Izzy, and a cat named Eclipse. Both Izzy and Eclipse were strays that followed her home one day. Destiny spends most of her time at home with them and dedicates her time at work to making sure your pets get the love and attention they deserve while you're away.

Reiana grew up in San Antonio and has been working with animals since she was seven years old.  She is the proud pet parent of two cats named Mittens and Luna and a dog named Teddy Bear.

Cayce grew up on a small cattle farm so caring for animals has been intertwined in her upbringing.  She has owned multiple farm animals and pets throughout the years. Cayce has been a kennel tech for two years and provides excellent care for pet guests at North Star Animal Center.
